I joined Fondia in May 2011 as Area Manager of the office in Lahti. Previously I had worked almost 30 years in business law – first as partner in different law firms and the last ten years as director of legal services at Ernst & Young’s office in Lahti.

I have mainly worked with family-owned companies and their various legal issues. I sometimes call myself a “specialist of general business practice”. My true specialist fields are corporate law and real estate law. I am convinced that Fondia’s way of doing things is perfectly well suited for this type of environment. A commercial lawyer should in all situations be a partner to the entrepreneur and a good listener. The lawyer shall pro-actively provide his client with his views and support.

My hobbies include music ( from classic al to rock), gastronomy and oenology. In later years an ever increasing part of my leisure time has been spent together with my wife at our summer cottage. The children have all flown out.
