I consider myself to be one of the private equity and venture capital experts in Finland. I made my first investments at the end of 1990´s and am working on my most recent ones right now, almost fifteen years later. From equity investments I moved on to working with trust holdings and also developing funds. In addition I have been involved in the stock market, finance and traditional M&A. I have received international recognition in all of these fields, which is gratifying.
When I moved on to Fondia, I also took on the responsibility of the development projects. I strongly believe in R&D operations and the significance of innovation. In the midst of jurisprudence this is a wonderfully new concept. I am still waiting for the awakening of this line of business and the moment that the ‘wig mode’ will be relinquished.
Besides working, I play sports, read fantasy books and raise a child together with the founder of Fondia, Marianne (and now I´m not talking about Fondia, but our daughter called Liv). Unfortunately I do not have sufficient spare time to play as much golf as I would like.
