Fondia is a legal services provider that aspires to be a pioneer in its line of business. We take care of the well-being of our personnel and promote equality within the work community. In the spirit of our progressive role as an employer, we also aim to be responsible for people and the environment on a more universal level. For this reason, Fondia has chosen to demonstrate social responsibility in four different ways.

Eco-friendliness. Since our foundation, we at Fondia have always shown consideration towards environmental issues. However, in an effort to further improve our commitment to eco-friendliness, we are participating in the WWF’s Green Office program . We promote the concepts of keeping the use of paper to a minimum, recycling, separation of waste, using public transportation, as well as consuming local and organic foodstuff. Most of Fondia’s personnel also follow these principles outside the office.

Helping out at the Hoiva elderly home. Well-being and working together are essential elements of life at Fondia and we aim to spread this positive atmosphere locally as well. One way we hope to achieve this is by organising a Valentine’s Day celebration at the Helsinki Deaconess Institute’s elderly home, Hoiva, and by visiting the elderly people there.

Supporting the entrepreneurs in developing countries. Fondia believes that entrepreneurship drives society forward throughout the world. Our personnel support entrepreneurs in developing countries by granting them interest-free loans mediated by Kiva: http://www.kiva.org/team/the_fondians .

An art gallery for art students. Fondia encourages young artists to be successful by providing exhibition space in its Helsinki office for student exhibitions of the Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibitions also prove inspiring and enjoyable for our personnel and customers, and any potential buyers can obtain the relevant contact information for the artists from us.
